In 1970 the first Time-Out Amusement Center was opened by Tico Bonomo in the Northway Mall located in Colonie, New York.1 By 1995 Time-Out had 12 locations and continued to grow till its height of 70 locations in 1987.1 On July 31 1990 Time-Out Family Amusement Centers, Inc. was acquired by Edison Brothers Entertainment.2 Time-Out and other Edison Brothers Entertainment arcades were then acquired by Namco in 1996.2

Tico Bonomo died at 74 years old on Sept 14 1999.3
